Our Solid Mini V Dipole redefines ruggedness in HF operation. Constructed from 35 mm diameter, 2.5 mm wall thickness marine-grade aluminium (EN AW-5083), each leg is tilted 30° outward to form a non-resonant, unyielding V. This geometry enables reasonable-efficiency radiation while ensuring extreme mechanical durability—whether in searing sun, driving rain, or icy wind. Designed for serious operators who need a practical compromise: a high-power, plug-and-play HF solution with minimal footprint.

We offer three balcony-friendly multiband versions of the Solid Mini V Dipole, each incorporating a built-in 4:1 UNUN and intended for use with an external tuner. These versions are ideal for operators with limited space who still want reliable, reasonably efficient, and high-power-capable multiband HF performance.

Due to the high and fluctuating SWR, these models derate the power rating of our standard dual-core 4:1 UNUN (normally 3.4 kW PEP) to prevent core heating and imbalance at extreme mismatch. Use only with a tuner.

Installation & Use:

  • Feed with any external tuner (manual or automatic)

  • Add 1:1 choke 1–2 m from tuner to prevent RF-on-shield
