Why ?
Why Choose a +45 dB Line Isolator? The Benefits Over Standard Chokes
The Importance of a High-Quality Common-Mode Choke or Line Isolator
What Is the Biggest Effect of a Line Isolator?
Function
- Compact high power Common-Mode Choke type 1/1 UNUN.
Mechanical Characteristics
- Professional 50 Ohms N-connector or SO239 connector. (IP66 after sealing with self- vulcanizing tape or equivalent).
Deployable frequency range: 1.5 to 50 MHz
- Low HF variant: optimized for 1,5 – 15 MHz > 30dB Rejection
- Mid HF variant: optimized for 3 – 30 MHz > 30dB Rejection
- High HF variant: optimized for 15 – 50 MHz > 30dB Rejection
Optional Grounding terminal, allowing for connection of one side of the isolator to a clean RF ground, thus forming an “L” configuration filter for sheath currents, and providing additional (secondary) lightning protection. This configuration results in higher TX common-mode current rejection ratios and higher RX noise rejection characteristics.
Maximum power: 6000 W PeP (ICAS) / 3000 W PeP (CCS) / 1500 W DIGITAL (FT8/FT4) (@ antenna VSWR of < 2/1). More info
The common mode rejection performance was measured using two Tekbox current clamps in a differential setup. A wideband noise source was injected, and the resulting signal was analyzed with a spectrum analyzer. The test setup confirmed a wideband common mode rejection of more than +30 dB across the specific band in the HF spectrum.
