Measurements
All tests were performed using a calibrated Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and 36 dB attenuator. Worst-case harmonic observed: −86.23 dBc (3rd harmonic). This exceeds ETSI EN 300 220 requirements (spurious ≥ 40 dB below carrier for ≤ 30 dBm transmitters), providing an extra margin of > 40 dB. Spectrum analysis confirms excellent spurious suppression and clean transmission within the 12.5 kHz channel.
Compared with leading commercial brands (Kenwood, Icom, Yaesu), the Hotspot2 demonstrates superior spectral purity and fully meets CE RED and international standards.
