5 Gigabit Ethernet from a USB-C port
Connect a computer with a suitable USB-C port to a wired Ethernet network at negotiated speeds up to 5 Gbps. The compact, USB-powered Delock 81570 uses a Realtek RTL8157 controller and has one RJ45 socket.
Supports 10/100/1000 Mb/s and NBASE-T 2.5/5 Gb/s. The actual link rate depends on the switch or peer, cabling and host.
The adapter connects to a USB 10 Gbps Type-C port and is powered by the USB bus. No separate power supply is included or required.

Before you connect
Delock lists Windows 10 or 11, macOS 14.5 or newer, and Linux kernel 6.5 or newer. The computer needs a free USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. A 5 Gb/s Ethernet link also needs a 5 GbE-capable network port at the other end; the adapter cannot increase the speed of a 1 GbE switch.
The retail box contains the adapter and user manual. For current drivers and manufacturer documentation, see Delock item 81570.
