Product Overview: This compact USB Hub with Ethernet is an easy way to add both wired networking and extra USB ports to devices like a Raspberry Pi Zero (or any system that needs a small, lightweight expansion hub). It adds a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port plus three USB 2.0 ports through a single USB connection.
(Note: this version uses a micro-USB upstream connector.)
Key Features
- 3× USB 2.0 ports: add peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, USB storage, audio adapters, or control interfaces.
- 1× Ethernet (RJ45) port: stable wired connectivity for devices without built-in Ethernet.
- 10/100 Mbps support: compatible with both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps networks.
- Standards compliant: IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T) and IEEE 802.3u (100BASE-TX).
- USB compatibility: works with USB 1.0/1.1/2.0 hosts.
- Cross-platform: compatible with Linux, Windows, and macOS.
- Short integrated cable: approx. 10 cm cable length for tidy installs.
Recommended Use Cases
- Raspberry Pi Zero networking: add Ethernet to a Pi Zero for more stable links than Wi-Fi in difficult RF environments.
- More USB ports in a small footprint: ideal for compact builds where a full-size hub is overkill.
- Bench / lab utility hub: quick access to wired network + USB peripherals on portable setups.
Compatibility Notes
- Upstream connector: micro-USB (host side).
- Operating systems: Linux, Windows, macOS.
- Network: 10/100 Mbps Ethernet.
