19" Rack-Mountable Analog Receiver – 2 m VHF
The Rack-Mountable Analog Receiver is a compact, high-performance receive-only VHF platform built for reliable fixed-station use in SVXLink repeater RX nodes, EchoLink gateway receivers, analog linking systems, and APRS iGate applications.
This receiver is built around the Receiver1 VHF module and integrated into a shielded 2U 19" rack-mount enclosure for clean, dependable operation in station, repeater, and networked receive installations.
This is a receive-only product. TX power, harmonic, and channel-power measurements do not apply to this version.
What Makes This Rack Receiver Different
- Receive-only architecture — optimized for stable, sensitive VHF reception without an onboard transmitter stage.
- Built around Receiver1 VHF — based on our proven Raspberry Pi-compatible VHF receiver platform.
- External RF via N connector — a robust and practical RF interface for fixed-station installations.
- Shielded 2U rack enclosure — designed for cleaner operation and better immunity in busy RF environments.
- Ideal for networked receive sites — well suited for SVXLink repeater RX nodes, APRS iGates, and remote receive points.

VHF Receiver Measurements
Sensitivity Measurements
The 12 dB SINAD sensitivity figure of −115 dBm provides a realistic indication of practical receive performance for narrowband VHF applications such as repeater receive nodes and APRS iGates.
Receive Performance
Receiver1 VHF is optimized for sensitive, stable VHF reception with support for 12.5 kHz and 25 kHz channel bandwidths, a 1 ppm TCXO, and high-quality audio conversion through the Wolfson WM8960 ADC. The result is a practical and robust receive platform for continuous-duty infrastructure use.
Why This Is Different from a Repeater Module
Unlike a full repeater transceiver, this product is a dedicated receiver. That means there is no transmitter stage, so output power, harmonic suppression, and channel-power plots are not relevant here. The focus is entirely on reception quality, stability, and integration flexibility.
