PolarFlip — RH / LH Circular Phasing Box
PolarFlip is a precision phasing device that accepts two matched linear antenna inputs and produces four simultaneous outputs: ANT1 (linear), ANT2 (linear), RHCP (Right-Hand Circular), and LHCP (Left-Hand Circular). It is designed for HF low-band and NVIS receive systems where polarization behavior dictates signal strength and stability.
Key benefit:
Instant access to both hands of circular polarization — no relays, no switching delay, and both linear channels available for reference or diversity.
Instant access to both hands of circular polarization — no relays, no switching delay, and both linear channels available for reference or diversity.
Main Features
- Four simultaneous outputs: ANT1, ANT2, RHCP, LHCP
- Transforms two linear antenna channels into both circular hands
- Improves SNR in conditions with Faraday rotation or polarization mismatch
- Low-loss hybrid network with high isolation between RH and LH
- Compact and shack-friendly phasing enclosure
Applications
- Low-band HF receiving (160 m to 30 m)
- NVIS systems where ionospheric rotation causes fading
- Diversity reception with linear channels plus both circular channels
- Contest field stations, portable ops, and DXpeditions
