OpenX6X00 — Compatible Hardware

USB and network hardware for the Xiegu X6100 and X6200 running OpenX6X00, the free, open-source radio firmware maintained by RF.Guru. Choose accessories by the tested radio model shown below.

  • X6100 and X6200: the Delock 81570 USB-C Ethernet adapter was used to develop and test OpenX6X00 Ethernet support on both radios.
  • X6100: RF.Guru has tested both StarTech USB-C hubs with OpenX6X00. Choose three USB-A ports plus Gigabit Ethernet, or four USB-A ports for peripheral expansion.

X6200 owners: the StarTech hubs have not yet been validated on this model. Xiegu's manual advises against external USB hubs because USB power is limited. The Delock is the tested choice here for a direct wired-network connection.

Use the radio's USB HOST connection and stay within its available peripheral power. Adapter interface ratings do not determine the radio's actual transfer speed. Visit openx6x00.org for firmware, setup instructions and project documentation.
